AutoCAD的選取框有兩種類型，一種是由右向左，而另一種恰好相反的是由左向右框選。
由右向左時可看到自己的選取框是虛線，由左向右時是實線。
而在2006以上的版本，虛線的選取框裡還會將底色改為綠色，而實線的選取框會將底色改為藍色，對於選取而言可以看的更加清楚。
雖然不是什麼重大的功能，但對於減少眼睛疲勞也多少有所幫助。
這兩種不同的框選方法其實各有其妙用之處，不過初學者往往會有點搞不太清楚這兩者之間的差異。
所以我想到了個比喻～…
這兩種框選方法，就好比是兩種類型的人。
由右向左框選簡稱“向左先生”，由左向右框選簡稱“向右小姐”。
（加個先生、小姐的稱謂只為了擬人化）
向左先生覺得所謂的「朋友」，就算只有稍微認識一些，甚至僅是點頭之交就可以算是朋友，所以向左先生所經之處總是充滿了朋友。
向右小姐認為所謂的「朋友」，一定要完全的了解對方，如果沒完全清楚對方的所有事情就不能算是朋友，所以向右小姐的朋友並不多。
不知道這樣的比喻會不會很難理解？
所謂有圖有真相，所以附上圖解釋也許比較好。
向左向右皆為同樣的框選範圍，左圖為框選範圍，中間為框選方向示意，右圖為框選結果；上排為向左，下排為向右。
另外此圖檔裡的花朵都是圖塊，如不是圖塊就會有不同結果。
但關於圖塊的部分並非本文重點，之後另開文章再述。
