前幾天因為2006的工具列消失，雖然以載入備份CUI檔將工具列圖示救回來，但是並沒有把問題完全解決。
也因此，乾脆就把舊版本都移除掉，試用2008看看。
今天完成安裝，就開始了比對先前配置安排如今工作區的工作。
習慣性的想叫出Express圖層工具列，要將它排在水平工具列的第二排，卻發現遍尋不著。
我先是檢查安裝光碟的工具安裝是否又把Express改回另外安裝，記得這功能是在2006時成為內訂安裝，走回頭路的機率應該不高，而檢查後的結果也如預期。
那麼，就是看看現在的工具列是不是有什麼以前沒看過的名字出現了。
圖層工具列、圖層 II 工具列……啊！真是令人驚喜，現在Express圖層工具列已經完全地成為AutoCAD的一份子，新名字叫「圖層 II 工具列」，而且圖示也重新再繪製過，和其餘工具列圖示擺在一起順眼不少。
從2000版開始，我一直都有使用該工具列，在2006時就注意到它已由另外安裝的型式改為內建。
但，工具列圖示很粗糙，說明也沒有譯為中文，與其他工具列明顯不同，讓人覺得有點礙眼。
可是它的功能在應用圖層時，幾乎可說是必備的，所以也只好睜隻眼閉隻眼的由它存在著。
所以當發現它成為AutoCAD內建工具列的一份子，我真的還蠻高興的，所以就先把這條放在前面講。
與2006比起來，2008也改變了不少地方。
光在一開始開新檔案後的配置，預設工具區即有三種選擇可供使用：「AutoCAD典型」、「2D繪圖與註解」、「3D塑型」。
下方狀態列的按鈕除了原有的「鎖點」、「格線」、「正交」…等，多出了一顆「DUCS」的按鈕。在先前嘗試建製3D model時，就曾碰過此功能，用以切換各種方向的工作平面。
因此多了個這樣的按鈕，而且工具區模式還特定內建「3D塑型」，可感覺到AutoDesk的野心，希望AutoCAD不只是個繪製2D CAD圖的利器，亦可成為一個建構3D model的工具之一。
