要抓兔子當然絕對不是抓牠的耳朵，試問要是有人抓你的耳朵把你整個人拎起來，會不會痛死？所以，抓兔子時抓牠的耳朵那是卡通片裡的事情，可千萬別這樣子整兔子啊～！
由於目前我們家小米還在400g以下，所以我目前只知道抓小隻兔仔的方法。以姆指在上，食指、中指在下的方式，輕輕夾住兔子短短的前腳，如果兔子夠小甚至食指中指可以與姆指相環而接。
然後，另一隻手從牠的屁股壓住牠可愛的小尾巴，並以堅定而不粗暴的方式托起，這樣子就可以抱起兔子了。壓住尾巴是為了怕牠太緊張拉屎拉尿到手上…XD
兔子非常的敏感與脆弱的動物，絕對不是夜市老闆或者是一些不仁的寵物店老闆所說的「只要有飼料和限量的水」就可以活的很好的動物，牠絕對比狗或貓還要更小心的對待，所以當牠不想要而掙扎的時候，就順著牠的意吧～溫柔的對
待牠，反正在一起的日子，只要處理得當，還長的很…。在把兔子放下時，別把兔子的頭朝下，這樣很可怕。就好像是坐雲霄飛車往下時那種感覺一樣吧？雖然說速度可能沒有那麼快，可是，兔子是很敏感的動物。所以如果可以的話，把牠的屁股朝下的放下到你想要的地方，會比較好。
